Skin boosting treatments are a new concept that promotes a global improvement of the skin through a series of hyaluronic acid injections into the dermis. The objective of this approach is to increase skin hydration, delaying and reversing the ageing process and reducing ageing indicators. It can be used by clients of any age to help hydrate the skin and reduce the onset of ageing.

Once injected into the dermis, hyaluronic acid draws water into the matrix causing it to swell, restoring the skin hydro balance, creating a slight volume, increasing skin turgor and improving the skins structure and elasticity.

They can also improve dermal elasticity by stimulating collagen production. Initially there is an enhancement of the stratum corneum’s hydration (𝚝𝚘𝚙 𝚕𝚊𝚢𝚎𝚛 𝚘𝚏 𝚜𝚔𝚒𝚗)and a decrease of trans epidermal water loss.

Improvement of cutaneous elasticity is seen followed by an increase is collagen, within 4-12 weeks post treatment.
